Each bank can only see its own accounts. It’s in this gap that scammers live.

We want the people this protects to own a piece of it. That’s why Canopy Protect is launching through PledgeMe, New Zealand’s crowdfunding platform.
For every $100 you pledge, you receive 100 shares in the company and a 12-month Canopy Protect subscription for one person, if you opt-in to Friends of Tōtara and support our beta programme from Jan-March 2027.
Friends of Tōtara will be the first to use Protect, helping us refine it in early 2027 before it launches across New Zealand and globally. By joining us early, you will help us build a product to protect New Zealanders, including some of our most vulnerable. You will also support a Kiwi financial startup who are focused on doing some real good for our communities.
